Adoption preparation has been made possible through our Paws & Promise program. Where one-time and monthly donors support us in responsibly preparing every animal entrusted to us for their forever homes. You too can help us keep more promises:
Foster Paws
Our amazing foster families are currently looking after the cats listed here. They are adoption ready meaning everything listed above (spayed/neutered, vaccinations, and microchips) still apply.
While we take great care of the animals in our custody, but nothing beats practicing for a forever home by being in one. Because they are in private homes, scheduling a meet-and-greet will require a little extra coordination between us and the foster families, but it’s worth it!
Looking For Work
All Paws Count's Working Cat Program provides healthy, independent cats for a natural pest control to businesses and other outdoor properties.
All cats are spayed / neutered to combat working cat overpopulation.
These working cats must go in pairs and are not comfortable around humans. They will need special accommodations for at least 2 weeks but basic care of food, water, and shelter after that!
How does APC Pricing work?
As you browsed, you may have noticed different pricing on each of our animals. These prices are determined from many factors including: age, breed, time at the rescue, and medical treatments required. Ranging from "Name Your Own Price" to $350.
Before adoption, our staff and veterinarians:
-
Spay or Neuter every animal to combat over population.
-
Microchip that allows shelters to scan the animal and return them home if they are ever lost.
-
Age appropriate vaccinations to keep them happy and healthy. Some require 4 doses over several months.
Many times, adoption pricing does not completely cover everything needed for an animal before adoption, and it is thanks to our community, corporate sponsors, and regular donors that allow us to continue saving lives while keeping pet ownership accessible for as many households as possible. Since we receive no government funding, consider being one of those donors today!
